Robert Half is partnering with a top National law firm in search of 3+ year Litigation Attorneys to play an integral role on important cases in the Minneapolis, MN office. You will be involved in a variety of federal and state litigation matters, representing companies in complex commercial litigation, Employment, Construction, Products Liability and other Litigation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle complex commercial litigation cases representing diverse companies

• Engage in comprehensive litigation processes including the preparation and arguing of motions

• Conduct and defend depositions efficiently and effectively

• Manage complex discovery processes and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date

• Attend court appearances actively representing client interests

• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and prepare cases for trial

• Manage financial fraud cases, securities, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duties

• Handle disputes including partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, and loan disputes

• Engage in construction litigation and UCC litigation

• Maintain adherence to the Minnesota Bar regulations and standards in all legal practices.

Requirements

• Must hold a Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school

• Admission to the state bar is mandatory

• 3+ years' experience in civil litigation

• Experience in all facets of litigation including preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, handling complex discovery, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations

• Proficiency in case management software and document management systems

• Experience in briefing and handling complex cases

• Excellent problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity and professionalism

• Strong research skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
