Job Title: Maintenance Apprentice/Set Up Technician
1st & 3rd Shift
$25-$30/HR
Job Description
As a Set-up Technician, you will lead and sustain a production line by performing equipment change-over technical services and supportive line duties. You will follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Your responsibilities will include carrying out product, size, and machine tooling changes to accommodate components, adjusting machinery to ensure efficient operation, and resolving problems while the product is running.
Responsibilities
Monitor equipment while running to assure optimal throughput.
Provide line personnel with guidance on how to operate the equipment.
Perform minor troubleshooting and correct issues with packaging equipment.
Inform engineering maintenance technicians of potential equipment issues or failures.
Disassemble and assemble filling/packaging equipment as necessary.
Set Lot/Batch numbers and expiration dates based on customer orders.
Ensure tools are organized, clean, and free of unnecessary parts.
Maintain a clean working area.
Perform equipment cleaning by dismantling and assembling equipment according to Equipment Cleaning SOP within a specified time.
Essential Skills
Basic knowledge of packaging equipment
Experience in minor troubleshooting and issue correction
Ability to disassemble and assemble equipment
High School Diploma or GED with two years of packaging setup/troubleshooting experience OR a 2-year technical degree in maintenance or automation/robotics
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $560000.00/hr.
