Job Description Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer (Roving) to join our team in Minneapolis! If this describes you, we encourage you to apply today. Some things you can expect to do: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building equipment and systems. Respond to tenant requests. Process work orders, general repairs and adjustments to building systems, equipment and fixtures. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants. Must have a high school degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of strong HVAC service experience in a commercial environment. You will have a clear driving record, basic knowledge of computer applications, and ability to lift 100 lbs. You must also be able to work from a ladder, work overhead, smell smoke and other chemicals and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions. You will really stand out if you have: An HVAC technical degree. Electrical, plumbing and building automation controls experience.
