Creative Circle Product Manager (13283) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Our CPG client is looking for a Product Manager. This role is: - Full-Time / Direct Hire - Hybrid onsite 1-2 days week (you can choose the days to come onsite each week) in their Minneapolis corporate office The ideal Product Manager will have: - Minimum 5 years' experience in consumer product innovation - Experience with personal care or beauty products is a plus - Forecasting experience and analytical skills - Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint - Ability to perform consumer research, analyze, and report on data and trends to drive strategy and execution - Experience in brand marketing - Able to evaluate samples against the target objective - Attention to detail and strong communication skills In this role, as Product Manager, you will: GENERAL SUMMARY - Lead the innovation strategy and manage the day-to-day activities for two of their reputable brands. - Supporting the development, execution and implementation of the product pipeline to help support short and long-term business objectives - Work closely with their brand marketing, design, sales and operations teams to implement brand plans - Lead the support to help launch products in the market place, including new product development, process improvements, new launch forecasting and competitive research BRAND PRODUCT STRATEGY SPECIFIC DUTIES: - Perform qualitative and quantitative research techniques to assess product and category performance - Support competitive analysis, market trends, product comps to support new product development - Present product innovation pipeline presentations to leadership NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SPECIFIC DUTIES: - Work with other Product team members, marketing and outside partners to create new concept recommendations - Provide feedback and direction to the design and innovation teams on new product design, from concept to final design approval - Ensure product formulations, packaging design, copywriting and collateral materials are up to brand standards and are successful in-market - Test sample products to ensure positive and on-brand customer satisfaction MARKET KNOWLEDGE SPECIFIC DUTIES: - Have a broad understanding of brand, product offerings, and competitive landscape - Monitor consumer trends - Identify and run necessary reports and draw conclusions from data to help determine brand strategy and innovation direction
