Description Position Summary Serves as Project Manager for a limited number of accounts and may assist senior Project Managers on complex accounts. The purpose of this position is to facilitate jobs in the execution phase of our Client's production needs. As a facilitator within the supply chain for packaging artwork issues, you will communicate with design firms, On-Site Personnel /Sales and Clients to ensure proper printability for packaging. As a figure within the process, you will help maintain and improve SGS & CO's relationship with the Client. Your primary concern will be to coordinate packaging production via job instructions and schedules to complete jobs. Within SGS & CO, you will effectively communicate specifications for each piece of packaging artwork on your brands by utilizing our technology solution Dragonfly as well as being a resource for production departments when issues or questions arise. The Project Manager is the primary resource to the On-Site Personnel and Sales, and the key point of contact to Creative, Photography and Execution teams at SGS & CO. PM must be able to adapt and create a plan when colleagues are absent. Location: WFH - Best Buy in Richfield for client meetings Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results Manage tasks as needed for Product Managers and assigned customers. Includes all applicable task assigments, scheduling, follow-through, quality-control and on-time delievery expectations. Understand the Dragonfly system. Understand file transfer and storage procedures as this relates to the customer's files. Upload, download and enter metadata required, which will be used to code each asset for storage and retrieval. Manage downloading high resolution images, JPEG files, PDF files, send links and fulfill requests from clients and our international affiliates. Communicate with sales, production, and customers to relay information and make appropriate recommendations. Assist with monthly metrics and reporting. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to management of client's digital assets. Seek out technical assistance from plant resources when necessary. Train other personnel and client regarding operating procedures pertaining to Dragonfly workflows. Collaborate and provide clear direction/procedures in making the necessary assignments/tasks to cross-functional team members. Attend scheduled workflow meetings. Attend client meetings onsite as needed. Participate in calls after normal business hours with Asian colleagues approximately 1-2 times per month depending on organizational and training needs. Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements This position requires the following knowledge and skills: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Some College/Associate's Degree preferred 1-3 years' experience preferred Previous experience as a CSR in the print industry preferred Experience in the design, print or production art industry preferred Basic comprehension in reading work instructions and business memos Proofreading skills required Ability to work independently after initial training Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
