What You'll Do
Principal is seeking a Securities Operations Specialist I to join our Principal Custody Solutions (PCS) team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, this may be the position for you!
As a Securities Operations Specialist I , you will perform a variety of operational tasks for complex securities or cash related transactions or processes that require extensive knowledge of unit functions and systems.
Here are some examples of the kinds of things you'll do:
Differentiating, processing and reconciling transactions
Researching inquires and resolving customer complaints
Reviewing time sensitive and/or complex documents
Creating or revising departmental procedures
Coordinating situations involving multiple departments
Day-to-day processing
Risk management and compliance
Physical security receipt and withdrawl processing
Who You Are
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years of relevant experience (experience in customer service, operations, financial services, or business processing preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Adaptability / flexibility
Ability to multi-task
SEI Trust 3000 experience a plus
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$21.68 - $29.09 / hour
Time Off Program
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

This role will be based in our Minneapolis office.
Work Environments
This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. After onboarding, training, and demonstration of successful performance, you may have the opportunity to work up to 2 days remote from home.
