Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience and expertise in the field of electrical engineering, developing a diverse portfolio of projects. You will be responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of complex electrical systems, providing solutions to a diverse clientele including multinational industry leaders. Your responsibilities will also include performing calculations for the sizing and installation of electrical equipment, utilizing various electrical codes and standards, developing detailed equipment specifications, designing power distribution and grounding systems, and overseeing junior engineers and technicians. Furthermore, you will play an active leadership role in the design development and delivery of final documents for electrical projects.
Hard Skills
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Minnesota
10+ years recent experience in electrical engineering and design of electrical equipment within industrial and commercial facilities
Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment including circuit breakers, motors, mcc's, drives, low voltage field devices, instrumentation, lighting, circuit protection, power monitoring equipment, transformers, wiring systems, switchgear and grounding systems
Soft Skills
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
Experience in delivering presentations
Ability to mentor and oversee junior engineers and technicians
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary groups
Experience in project planning and development
Ability to provide engineering guidance
Ability to perform QA/QC reviews throughout the design development process
Experience in developing project options and alternatives
