RBC Senior Manager, CUSO Financial Crimes in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The Senior Manager, CUSO Financial Crimes will support the Combined U.S. Operations ("CUSO") Financial Crimes in executing an aligned approach to regulatory compliance management, operational risk, and reporting functions. This role will interact members of CUSO and Enterprise Financial Crimes, Legal, Compliance, and Risk. What will you do? In partnership with enterprise Financial Crimes colleagues, establish a roadmap to embed the FC RCM standard into practice within the CUSO with immediate attention being paid to the implementation of new regulatory horizon scanning, inventory management and regulatory risk assessment capabilities. Collaborate with CUSO Financial Crimes and enterprise teammates to manage and continually manage and improve upon the CUSO Financial Crimes reporting processes and develop efficiencies and alignment across reporting functions across the CUSO. Manage the ongoing tracking of Risk Appetite Measures and reporting of key performance / risk indicators for the CUSO Financial Crimes team. Assist in the alignment and enhancement of internal AML / financial crimes controls across the CUSO. Support operational risk reporting for CUSO Financial Crimes vertically through Toronto Financial Crimes as well as horizontally throughout the CUSO Financial Crimes and CUSO Operational Risk teams. Support CUSO Financial Crimes Issue Management oversight, reporting, and best practices in transition to the new enterprise issue management solution. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Education Level:University Degree or equivalent experience Experience: At least 4 years of risk and compliance management, including a working knowledge of financial crime related program requirements relating to BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, and FCPA. Strong knowledge and experience developing, coordinating, and preparing management reporting. Ability to handle ambiguity in a professional manner. Knowledge of financial institution governance structure and committee workflows. Quickly adaptable to changing circumstances/priorities. Nice-to-have Experience in data analysis and simplifying complex information for management reporting. Strong knowledge of risk management in financial institutions. What's in it for you?
