The Client Finance and Accounting team is responsible for the timely and accurate fulfillment of financial and transactional deliverable requirements. The focus of this team has a direct impact on client relationships, client consolidated financials and WeWork's industry reputation as a service provider and partner. Reporting to the Director of Client Finance and Accounting, the Senior Program Manager of Client Finance and Accounting will streamline the implementation of all external client financial obligations, ensuring client satisfaction, and coordinating cross functionally to establish procedures to meet the obligations outlined in the Asset Lite management agreements. This position will be responsible for onboarding new Asset Lite clients per the terms of the management agreements, establishing internal and external processes for Finance related workstreams, creating flexible plans to adapt to changing Client requirements, and influencing key decisions and business strategy within Finance, ensuring processes are running efficiently and following industry best practices with an optimal operating model. The Senior Program Manager of Client Finance and Accounting will partner closely with other cross functional groups including Finance, Sales, Real Estate, Community, Operations & Technology. Accountable For Meeting with clients during transition and understanding all prospective Asset Lite deals to ensure financial responsibilities and requirements are identified and properly scoped. Building relationships with Asset Lite Clients' Accounting teams and understanding their unique policies and requirements. Overseeing the onboarding of Asset Lite clients by indirectly managing workstream owners and external client team members responsible for all finance, accounting, and shared services workstreams Reporting client onboarding progress, deadlines, and escalations to external clients and executive leadership Driving cost savings & implementation of efficiencies forward through knowledge of industry best practices, project management and accounting expertise. Working with WeWork compliance and technical accounting team to build controls framework to support creation of SOC1 and Asset Lite policies & controls. Monitoring the effort associated with Asset Lite models and modeling the profitability of deals by understanding client transition efforts required of finance, accounting & shared services Partnering with technology teams to ensure solutions meet Asset Lite client financial requirements and deliverables (e.g. data integrations, exports, uploads etc.) Capabilities Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a 4 year college in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field 8+ years prior commercial real estate experience Proven track record of managing projects with many cross functional stakeholders and meeting client deadlines Advanced project management experience and ability to drive outcomes with people who do not report to you Skill in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, vendors & executive leadership Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and interpret complex data Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively manage multiple work streams and stakeholders Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners Ab
