RBC Senior Technology Product Manager - WM Clearing & Custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? The Principal Technology Product Manager is responsible for delivering & owning industry leading, innovative and integrated technology platforms for RBC Clearing & Custody clients. This role is responsible for the overall direction of assigned platforms and technologies with an ultimate goal of supporting the growth of client firms and ensuring that their assigned platforms continue to meet client needs. What will you do? Product Management - Define and communicate the Clearing & Custody product vision and strategy by delivering quality deliverables based on customer needs and competitive landscape. Manages the product roadmap, life cycle, and deployment of enhancements in order to support our business goals, increase adoption, and delight our clients. Relationship Management - Provides superior client experience and strengthens relationships within the project team at all levels of the organization, Project Sponsor, and Business/Technology Owners. Collaborates with internal colleagues and external vendor partners, with frequent exposure to product, technology, service, finance, reporting, and operations. Responsible for aligning the Clearing & Custody strategy and product vision with other US Wealth Management Product Managers and Capability Owners. Subject Matter Expertise - Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of assigned products, the broader marketplace, and client needs to drive product growth/development and maximize profitability across varying stages of their life cycle. Researches and supports product success for the assigned products in order to achieve the business goals. Communication Management: Manages product level communications including status reports to all stakeholders. Responsible for soliciting stakeholder requirements and input on decision making. What do you need to succeed? Must-have 3+ years of experience in financial services industry, preferably in the clearing industry or independent financial advisor space. 2+ years experience in Product Management, operations, document management, client management preferred. Previous experience managing multiple complex technology products Nice-to-have Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation Strong presentation skills Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines What's in it for you?
