Let's Redefine Possible SUMMARY Responsible for supporting the day to day operations of the Equipment Solutions organization, with an emphasis on building customer relationships. This position plays an integral role in managing a wide range of processes on behalf of the Project teams, Equipment Facility Teams, Buyers, and ESM HQ Leadership (Equipment Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing). Hiring Location: Minneapolis, MN Summary: We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist II, to serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and colleagues. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and referring applicants to appropriate Operating Groups company-wide. Demonstrating your skills in interviewing techniques, an excellent understanding of the Company's organizational structure, industry knowledge, deep understanding of personnel policy and procedure, as well as federal and state laws regarding employment practices is key. You will provide leadership to other team members in the department by displaying resourcefulness, self-starting work habits, and creativity in problem solving based on information and discernment. Your ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization (both inside and outside the company) is critical to success in this role. RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the Customer Relationship Manager for assigned projects Develop and update staffing priorities to focus on for each group Conduct weekly customer relationship meetings and update recruiting reports Source and staff open positions Develop approaches to identify and source talent Direct recruiting Participate in Career Fairs and Open Houses Recruit diverse talent to support Mortenson's diversified work teams Work closely with hiring managers in the development of the recruitment and selection plan and establishment of employment offers Negotiate and handle external resources used for recruiting (e.g. agencies, Internet service companies, researchers, etc.) Conduct reference checks QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of seven years recruiting/HR experience or a combination of higher education and experience. Could have 4 years of external recruiting experience and one year of recruiting at Mortenson Experience recruiting in the Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Risk is helpful High quality professional level work product, a positive attitude and behavior traits, initiative and productivity are expected in this position Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions Ability to make recommendations on hiring decisions Organize and prioritize work Experience using PC and other widely used software packages, e.g., spreadsheets (Excel), word processing (MS Word), ATS/database Demonstrate attention to detail, strong teamwork orientation, positive attitude, and professional customer service skills Education: Bachelor's degree Human Resources Management, or a related field.
