Job Description In this role you will work remotely and home office driving sales through a Farmer -Hunter selling mentality to drive business. You will maintain existing accounts and grow new accounts. You will have clients in the Commercial and Industrial Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Medical Tech, or Environmental Engineering industry that you will be faced with on a daily basis. A lot of your sales will be into the Laboratory Market direct selling through distributors to universities, medical centers, clinical labs, forensics, environmental, industrial, and big pharma, In this role you are building and maintaining relationships on a daily basis. The main function of this role is to support and grow product channels to the market you will also use Salesforce (CRM) to track activities and customer pipeline. In this role you will look for creative and innovative ways to develop solid territory business growth. You will have a sales plan and will provide monthly sales updates and overviews in regards to your territory. Qualifications 1) Hunter selling mentality to drive business Farmer mentality to retain business and current customer client base. 2) Technical background in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Medical Tech, or Environmental Engineering. (heavily preferred but not required) 3) Outside selling experience. Remote position, working out of your home. Mature, with good Networking skills, and well organized. 4) Experience selling into the Laboratory Market. Including Direct selling and through Distributors to Universities, Medical Centers, Clinical Labs, Forensics, Environmental, Industrial Quality Control, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Lab Designers). Experience working in a Laboratory, or for Lab Products distributor is a plus. 5) Build and develop relationships with current and new customers to expand the business. Experience presenting to Engineer Firms and Lab Markets. 6) Strong communication skills 7) The successful candidate will work to meet/exceed sales goal by actively managing an established customer base and sellin new business. 8) Travel expectation is 60% depending on territory demands at any specific time. Must be willing and available to travel throughout sales territory as needed to meet with customers.
