Humera is seeking a detail oriented Data Analyst for our client, a major healthcare provider in Minnetonka. The candidate in this position will be generating reports for the Underwriting team to prepare new business Commercial quotes and generate reports that are used as a part of the RFP (Request for Proposal) response. This is fully remote contract position anticipated to run from May through October 2024. Only candidates available for the entire length of contract that are local to the Twin Cities will be considered at this time.

Duties

• The primary job duties will be to generate reports such as GeoAccess, Disruption, and Age/Gender reports, that are required as part of the RFP process, along with reports requested by Commercial brokers and vendors. These reports are run using various industry and home-grown software tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 3 years of work experience beyond degree

• Health Insurance industry knowledge

• The role requires a strong attention to detail

• Advanced Excel skills (Excel assessment scores would be preferred)

• SQL experience needed

• Basic MS Access skills

• Software experience in Qwest Analytics and Salesforce would be helpful

• Good under the pressure of a fast pace environment and with deadlines

Schedule

• First shift, M-F. 40 hours/week.
