This position is responsible for performing audits and examinations for Bravera Holdings Corp. and Subsidiaries. Will assist with monitoring of internal control systems, policies, procedures, loan review, and compliance management, which requires a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. This position is independent of management and is to report any significant findings directly to the appropriate Board Committee or Board of Directors.

Duties and Responsibilities

Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
Will perform audits and examinations for BHC and Subsidiaries according to internal standards. Must demonstrate unbiased and impartial judgment in all situations. This position is independent of management and is to report any significant findings directly to the appropriate Board Committee or Board of Directors.
Will assist with monitoring of internal control systems, policies, procedures, loan review, and compliance management, which requires a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Will recommend additions or updates for system improvements to assure consistent audit and loan review procedures. May specialize in a certain audit area, as necessary.
Must develop a thorough knowledge of all federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to the financial services industry and stay abreast of changes. Will provide education and training to management and staff, as necessary.
Ensure safety and soundness of the organization through the completion of all internal audits on a timely basis in accordance with the Audit Schedule and Risk Assessment Matrix. Assess risk areas and provide assistance in determining areas where additional efforts are needed.
Responsible for preparing accurate and professional reports, securing documentation, and maintaining confidentiality of all projects.
Will assist with examinations of operating and accounting functions, loan review, and investigations of fraud, as requested.
Will conduct research and provide recommendations regarding audit, compliance, or legal issues, as they arise.
Will assist with special projects, as requested.
Recommended to obtain and keep a current professional certification and training.
Responsibilities require a high degree of accuracy and strong communication skills.
Must be able to efficiently organize work assignments in order to meet deadlines.
Travel is required, including the ability to work flexible hours.
Adhere to all rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
Qualifications
Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or other related field.
Experience: One to three years related experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
