Job Summary
As a Product Owner you will serve as a multi-faceted professional combining roles in business analysis, customer relations, and quality assurance, responsible for mastering the product's technology stack, supporting end users through various phases including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and enhancing the overall guest experience by analyzing feedback and coordinating product launch activities.
Job Description
We are looking for a Product Owner , this will be a blend of a business analyst, business relations manager, and Quality Assurance specialist, and you will be working under the guidance of the Sr. Product Manager. This is a full-time, onsite, and contract opportunity that renews on a semi-annual basis.
What You’ll Do
Gain in-depth knowledge of the product's technology stack and its connections with other enterprise products
Engage with end users during UAT, handling project tasks, resolving help desk tickets, and managing work orders
Provide ongoing support after product launch, ensuring a smooth transition into daily operations
Oversee the development and maintenance of test lab environments
Create and update critical product documentation to support user needs and product understanding
Collect and incorporate customer feedback to improve user experience continually
Participate in crafting functional and technical PRDs to guide product development
Coordinate product launch activities, emphasizing building and nurturing positive guest relationships
Analyze business functions addressed by the product and benchmark against competitors
Develop metrics to measure product reliability and availability, evaluating their business impact
Troubleshoot common issues, offering effective solutions to enhance service delivery
Determine essential resources and tools needed for product installation and ongoing support
What You’ll Need
Required:
Proficiency in managing product backlogs, including defects and enhancements
Adept at interpreting requirements and creating detailed user stories
Ability to estimate technology needs and perform cost/benefit analyses
Expert in defining solution contexts, drafting solution sketches, and managing vendor relations
Competent in evolving product roadmaps and preparing test cases for non-functional requirements
Commitment to maintaining accurate and current product documentation
Provide expert-level production support and stay abreast of market trends to sustain a competitive product position
Desired:
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced MS Excel skills and a working knowledge of reporting and database tools
Flexible and efficient in managing changes in priorities and timelines
Strong investigative skills with the judgment to escalate issues appropriately
Independent learner with the ability to absorb and apply new technologies swiftly
Team player with an understanding of data protection regulations such as GDPR, PCI, and PII
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
