As a Chemical Operator, you will be:
*Performing all job tasks in a safe manner by following all of the mandatory safety requirements and guidelines.
Able and willing to adjust to change and to be assigned to any production area in the department, or work on other non-production related tasks.
Working safely and use good judgement in all work situations.
Effectively resolving and troubleshooting problems.
Working effectively with others to accomplish goals and take ownership.
Starting up and stopping equipment.
Taking and following instructions from supervisors. Able to follow documented step-by-step instructions and accurately document completion of each step.
Working with equipment following set safety procedure, including working with hazardous chemicals, laboratory, and other devices.
Maintaining continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Performing basic quality and process checks.
Setting up equipment and packaging of finish goods
Qualifications
Able to work in any area of the department.
Manually lift up to 50 LBS.
Flexible to be pulled from one job to the next and then go back to first job as needed.
Able to work in a respirator.
Able to climb fixed ladders, portable ladders, extension ladders.
Able to work overtime as necessary.
Able to stand/sit for long periods and frequently use stairs, catwalks, and ladders.
