Job Description

Aecom Mississauga is hiring a Deputy Commercial Lead.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports the Commercial Lead in all Commercial activities.

  • Organise all Commercial, Contracts and Procurement Workshops.

  • Ensure the availability and access to all IPDT Commercial, Contracts and Procurement Controls Tools and Software.

  • Define all required Metrolinx Commercial, and Contracts and Procurement inputs for the effective carrying out of the Delivery partner scope of services.

  • Determination of all Delivery Partner Commercial, and Contracts and Procurement Resources for the Delivery Phase for agreement with Metrolinx.

  • Review all Commercial and Contractual aspects of Stakeholder Engagement (Employers Requirements) in the Project Contracts.

  • Ensure effective administration of all Commercial and Contracts functions together with the Organization and Governance arrangements (including all tools and systems and their usage).

  • Participate in Governance Workshops.

  • Lead all Commercial , and Contracts activities in the absence of the Commercial Lead. \

  • Determine all Delivery Partner Commercial and Contract Resources Required for the Executive Review.

  • Contribute to the preparation of all Commercial, and Contracts and Procurement presentations to the Investment Panel and the Metrolinx Executive.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or Quantity Surveying.

  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience

  • MRICS or Canadian equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent commercial and project management skills, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.

  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to identify growth opportunities and drive business development initiatives.

Additional Information

  • Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $150,000.00 - $190,000.00.
