TEKsystems Entry Level Accounting Role (Big 5 Bank - 100% In Office) in Mississauga, Ontario
Our client, one of the big 5 banks, is looking to hire entry level Banking/Basic Accounting candidates to help support their corporate office located in the North East side of Mississauga on a fully in office basis.
Please note - this job is 100% in office. There are no exceptions for hybrid or remote work.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures.
Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
Duplicate Tax slips and or issuing new/amended tax slips
Take incoming calls
Must Have Experience/Skills:
6+ Months of Basic Accounting Experience
Microsoft Office Suite Experience
Strong Communication Skills (English - Verbal and Written)
