Providence St. Joseph Health Security Engineer II IS in Missoula, Montana
Description
This role is primarily remote. A successful candidate will be required to go into an office at least once a month. As a result, candidate should be no further than 50 miles from a Providence location.
We are looking for a Security Engineer with Penetration Testing and Forensics experience to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in conducting and managing penetration testing and forensics investigations as well as responding to cybersecurity incidents. This role requires close collaboration with the Cybersecurity and a myriad of legal, application, and information stakeholders to bolster the secure posture and support recovery operations. This position will lead and oversee all aspects primarily related to penetration testing and assisting with digital forensic investigations.
Responsibilities include conducting penetration testing adhering to appropriate frameworks and best practices leveraging common industry tools such as Burpsuite, Kali, and Metasploit. Duties will also include providing technical security assessment support, developing processes and capabilities, ensuring logical and physical protection of organization. Additional responsibilities include conducting forensics in collecting, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence as well as research, evaluate, and design technical forensic and security solutions to support Cyber and Information Security strategies.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering Or equivalent educ/experience
- 3 years Related experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Upon hire: SSCP, SANS GIAC, or equivalent
- 3-5 years Related experience
- Experience in a Healthcare environment
