City of Missoula Urban Forestry Maintenance Worker, 10 Month Seasonal in Missoula, Montana
The Parks & Recreation Department is seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Park Maintenance Worker, specializing in Urban Forestry. This role involves performing a variety of essential maintenance duties, including tree care, equipment operation, and ensuring safety compliance across park facilities. Urban Forestry specialists will focus on tree planting, pruning, pest management, and risk tree removal. Candidates should have at least one year of maintenance or light equipment operation and the ability to safely operate both light and heavy equipment. A valid Montana driver’s license is required, and candidates must be able to obtain a Montana Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 60 days of hire.
