Aerotek Concrete Worker - Weekly Pay - Start ASAP in Mitchell, South Dakota
*Concrete Worker – Weekly Pay – Start ASAP!*
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications to determine formwork requirements.
Assemble and install concrete forms using wood and metal materials, ensuring accuracy and stability.
Measure, cut, and shape form materials to meet project specifications.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and adhere to project timelines.
Conduct quality checks on formwork and make adjustments as necessary.
Assist in mixing, pouring, and curing concrete, using appropriate equipment to ensure proper finish.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with safety regulations.
Location: Mitchell, SD
Pay : $22 - $30 (Pay is based on experience)
Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm (Monday – Friday)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete formwork, preferably in a shipyard or similar setting.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with hand and power tools used in formwork and construction.
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure precise measurements and alignment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in construction environments.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
Stamina to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Comfort working at heights and in various weather conditions.
