Job Title: CNC Operator
Location: Temperance, MI
Position Type: Full-Time
*Shift: *2^nd^ shift
Pay: $25 with a $5 shift premium.

Job Summary: operate and maintain CNC machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in producing parts that meet our high standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (including mills, lathes, and other related equipment)
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to determine machine setup requirements and production specifications
- Work with programmers and other department members to improve process, tooling selection, and setup
- Deburr part, tap holes properly, ensure threads are correct and proper depth engagement, and part is cleaned before moving to next operation
- Must be able to perform, but not limited too, the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring
- Accurately record production data and maintain logs of completed jobs
- Troubleshoot any issues/nonconformance that arises. Start Nonconformance report when required
- Follow all company safety protocols and standards

Qualifications:
- Registered Journeyman and/or comparable education • Experience with numerically controlled machine operation • Experience with manual machine operation • Read and interpret prints accurately • Excellent working knowledge of machining processes and in-depth understanding of tool and die manufacturing • Knowledge of machining, tool & die, modeling, programming, die cast process • Good understanding of similar industrial practices (electrical, plumbing, hydraulics) • Understanding of Federal and State OSHA standards • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Contribute to a team environment • Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively
