Anticipated period of employment: from 06/02/2024 to 12/20/2024.
Three months of verifiable commercial vegetable farm experience, in the previous ten years, required. Experience should include knowledge of proper techniques of pruning, staking, suckering, and tying peppers and tomatoes.

Perform manual labor to plant, cultivate, harvest, grade, pack and load bell pepper, tomatoes, asparagus, strawberries, pickling cucumber, cucumber, cabbage, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, specialty peppers, melons, cantaloupe, sweet corn, sweet potato, eggplant, green beans, peas, squash and zucchini by hand. Perform extensive walking, standing, bending, stooping, pulling, twisting, and lifting and carrying of up to 75 lbs. Work may be in inclement weather including extreme heat, cold, and /or rain for extensive periods of time. Three quarters of an average of 60 hours per week guaranteed. Tools, supplies and equipment provided at no cost. Housing provided at no cost if outside of commuting area. If applicable, transportation and subsistence expense to the job will be paid upon completion of 50% of the employment period, or earlier.

Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office.
