Scanning Clerk
Responsibilities:
Sorting and distribution of mail and office supplies, including interoffice, couriers and overnight mail
Delivery of mail and printing projects throughout the customers site
Coordinating and preparing projects for printing, including electronic file conversion, document scanning and enhancement from start to delivery
Download jobs from email or print queue, sizing, reproducing, sorting and finishing
Establishing and maintaining quality controls to ensure work accuracy
Responding to first level phone calls from end users of equipment to determine the problem, clear paper jams, run test copies and determine status of machines
Provide scheduled trips to all machines to conduct cleaning of glass, toner replacement, stocking paper and general cleanness of work space
Running reports
Keeping logs of downtime, repairs and meter charges of all copiers/printers on site
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a mail room or copy centre
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop business relationships
Strong self-motivation to drive results
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Effective use of Microsoft Office
Ability to lift 30+lbs. as necessary
Other:
- Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS
Coordonner et préparer les projets d'impression incluant la conversion des fichiers électroniques, la numérisation et l'amélioration des documents du début jusqu'à livraison.
Télécharger les tâches à partir de la file de courriels ou d'impressions puis effectuer la calibration, la reproduction, le triage et la finition.
Établir et maintenir les contrôles de qualité afin de garantir l'exactitude du travail.
Répondre aux appels de premier niveau des utilisateurs finaux de l'équipement afin de déterminer le problème, de déloger les entassements de papier, de produire des copies d'essai et de déterminer l'état des appareils.
Organiser des visites planifiées des appareils pour procéder au nettoyage de la vitre, au remplacement du toner, au réapprovisionnement du papier et pour assurer le nettoyage général de l'espace de travail.
Produire des rapports.
Établir des registres du temps de disponibilité, des réparations et des coûts de compteur pour tous les copieurs et toutes les imprimantes sur site.
ÉDUCATION
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou expérience de travail équivalente
EXPÉRIENCE :
- Minimum 2 années d'expérience de travail dans une salle de courrier ou un centre de copie
COMPÉTENCES
Excellentes aptitudes interpersonnelles, ainsi qu'une capacité à pouvoir développer rapidement des relations d'affaires
Avoir une forte motivation personnelle permettant d'obtenir des résultats
Excellente habileté de communication orale et écrite
Utilisation efficace de Microsoft Office
Capacité de soulever des poids de 30 lb et plus, au besoin
