Your Impact
The SF&I Sales and Execution Manager within Home Services plays a pivotal role in leading and overseeing a team of analysts dedicated to the Sell, Furnish, and Install (SF&I) business model. This individual is tasked with driving the execution and operational excellence of the SF&I program, ensuring that financial and operational targets are met or exceeded. The Manager collaborates closely with various departments, including Store Operations, Merchandising, Compliance, Legal, and Technology to execute cross-functionally. This role is essential in maintaining the competitiveness and efficiency of the SF&I offerings.
Responsibilities include the implementation of the end-to-end SF&I strategy in executing the SF&I capability road map, the SF&I category road map, and managing the team to meet the goals and objectives on those plans. The Manager will take into consideration competitive position, organizational readiness, proformas, and other critical inputs necessary to make the right capability and category decisions within SF&I.
This role will be aware of federal, state, and local regulations for real property improvements, including correct taxation, permitting, licensure, etc. and will work closely with Compliance and Legal to manage our risks. This role will be aware of federal, state, and local regulations for information security, including PCI compliance, and will work closely with Technology to manage our risks. This role directly supports Installation Merchants, Specialty Store Operations, and Stores, and serves as the point-of-contact for escalations regarding SF&I. S/he is a Subject Matter Expert in installed sales, third-party labor management, services revenue recognition, and solution management.
What You Will Do
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts in the execution of SF&I strategies and operations.
• Ensure the team's activities align with the strategic roadmaps and operational plans developed by senior leadership.
• Manage the development and implementation of SF&I capabilities and category roadmaps.
• Recruit and hire Sr. Analysts and Analysts. Responsible for leading and developing their team with a focus on Core Behaviors. Will work with other leaders within the Home Services organization to create development opportunities for the entire department to create a robust bench of talent that will become the future leaders of the organization.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Legal departments to ensure SF&I operations comply with all relevant regulations.
• Work closely with Technology to manage risks related to information security and data protection.
• Identifies category exceptions (poor conversion, bad debt, aged sales, etc.) and drives the resolution of same.
• Responsible for monitoring issue-resolution ensuring we follow guidelines and SLAs to enable the team to handle escalations and inquires from Stores, Installation Merchants, etc.
• Will maintain a tactical partnership with the Installation Merchants in the execution of all SF&I categories. Responsible for maintaining relationships, communicating effectively, and building cross functional partnerships with leaders with a focus on SF&I.
• Responsible for ensuring that the entire SF&I organization within Home Services is listening to and reacting to the needs of the business while also fully supporting the enterprise strategy and objectives. They will ensure that all members of the team utilize all available tools, data, and insights to deliver the best possible of service and results to their respective partners.
• Works with business partners and other stakeholders to prioritize information/reporting needs and prioritizes activities for direct reports.
• Provides timely, effective and actionable feedback and coaching to reporting individuals so that they may continue growth and development as well as perform necessary responsibilities of their role.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Operations, or related field
• 5-7 Years Related industry experience (installation, repair, or US home improvement)
• 3-5 Years experience working closely with senior leadership (VP and above)
• 5+ years of managing direct reports
Preferred Qualifications
• 11-15 Years Prior corporate retail pricing, promotions or competitive intelligence analytics or strategy experience. At least 12 years of comparable experience plus 5 years of experience with price optimization solutions
