Job Summary
Our Shipping & Receiving Associate is the front-line of order fulfillment and will be responsible for order accuracy, packaging and shipping, and developing scalable processes for our growing eCommerce segment. This position will support our growing B2C e-commerce platform, existing B2B customers, and important vendor relationships.
Responsibilities and Duties
Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
Ensure shipment accuracy for all outgoing orders to maintain Ilmor’s high level of expectations for Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to parts ordering
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
Determine shipping method for engines and parts, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes.
Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of engines and parts.
Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications.
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as forklift, hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
Compute amounts, such as space available, and shipping, storage, and demurrage charges, using calculator or price list.

Required Skills
2 + years of experience in Shipping & Receiving or related logistics responsibilities
Intermediate-to-Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High School Diploma or GED
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Effective communicator and collaborator
Able to work hard and maintain quality standards with tight deadlines
Desired Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing setting
Experience in a warehouse setting
Interest in eCommerce logistics
Experience with ERP or inventory management software
Intermediate-to-Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
