Transystems LLC Equipment Technician/Mechanic in Moorhead, Minnesota
Transystems supports many different types of operations: road construction, aggregate stockpiles, open pit mining, short and long haul operations, specific hazardous materials hauls, along with seasonal projects such as our sugar beet operations. Therefore, all Transystems mechanics must be versatile in their mechanical skills and professional in their job performance. Mechanics employed by Transystems will be involved in:
The repair and maintenance of company equipment (both rolling and stationary) in a safe, timely, cost effective and practical manner.
The repair and maintenance of all types of semi, tractor/trailer combinations, COE and conventional tractors, trailers (including belly dumps, single, double, triple combinations, flatbeds, tankers, vans, hopper tank, bulk tank, and pneumatics).
Ensuring that all maintained equipment meets federal, state, and company standards.
Conducting equipment safety DOT inspections to:
a. Tractors
b. Trailers
c. Service Vehicles
d. Both revenue and non-revenue company equipment
