A Typical Day
The Lien Resolution Specialist II is responsible for processing lien releases, subordinations, deed corrections, and partial releases timely and accurately to mitigate risk; and in accordance with investor’s guidelines, state, federal, and local regulations.
The Lien Resolution Specialist II will:
Process the collateral files and all recorded instruments as they are received from the custodian or outsourcing provider in an accurate and timely manner
Track, monitor, and manage vendor’s pipeline of requests being processed that include out of compliance items, aged items, high priority states and escalated requests. Coordinates the review of the monthly scorecard with the vendor
Review and analyze Partial Release, Deed Correction, and Subordination loan documents that were forwarded by the borrower or their authorized third party, to determine the same were drafted in accordance with the Investor’s guidelines
Conduct a gain/loss analysis of property values, to ensure Investor’s guidelines are met and risk is minimized
Draft and confirm accuracy of loan documents such as; Assignments, Partial Release Agreements, Deed modification documents, and Subordination Agreements
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years mortgage experience; Lien and Partial Release knowledge required
Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products
Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
