Position Description:
The Dishwasher may perform a variety of services to customers in a motel restaurant. Primary responsibilities include bussing, washing dishes and other related duties as requested. The program is currently estimated at 25 hours per week.\ \ Essential Job Functions may include the following or other duties as assigned:
- Operate industrial dishwasher.
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary.
- Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
- Clean iced tea, coffee and milkshake machines daily.
- Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources.
- Clean dish storage.
- Follow sanitation polices at all times.
- Perform closing, opening, and side work.
- Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
- Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party.
- Do additional work if necessary.
- Unloading and storing deliveries.
Requirements/Qualifications:

- Must be a minimum of 16 years old.
- Must either be enrolled in high school OR under 18 years old.
- Food Handlers Card preferred but not required.
- Must have experience or knowledge in specified programs.
- Must be able to operate industrial machinery and carry loads up to 20lbs.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must possess and display strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and practice independent judgment.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Must be able to work in hot, humid environment.
- Must be able to be standing on your feet your 4-8 hours.
- Must be able to interact successfully with all levels of staff, clients and vendors.
- Must be able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Must be able to pass Reference Check, Background Check and Drug Screen.
- Must have strong problem solving and communication skills.
