Position Overview:

Responsible for the entire business performance of the establishment. Uses past performance market conditions and strategic planning to forecast supply and demand. Coordinates all activities including management, customer relations, and marketing to ensure efficiency and profitability.

Essential Functions:

  • Set an annual budget and manage costs accordingly.
  • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the establishment to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Devise systems, set policy, provide guidance, and implement changes to ensure quality standards.
  • Develop cost-saving strategies to increase profit and manage labor costs.
  • Provide training to ensure performance objectives are met.
  • Provide leadership and team building for staff.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues and service complaints.
  • Discipline staff appropriately according to policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain the staff as required.
  • Prepare end-of-day reports and ensure that all financials balance.
  • Recruit and hire new staff as required.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and health and safety.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years of experience relevant to the position; OR Bachelors degree and one (1) year of supervisor or lead experience.

Knowledge; Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
  • Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
  • Meet operating policies and standards, including providing quality products, cash handling, and safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
  • Comply with a dress code that prohibits displaying tattoos, piercingsin excess oftwo per ear, and unnatural hair colors, such as blue or pink
  • Available to perform many different tasks during each shift.
