THE POSITION
Welcome to the role of a Certified Athletic Trainer! As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will be an integral part of a team of professionals dedicated to providing the best possible care for athletes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with athletes and coaches to help them reach their goals. You will use your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology to assess injuries, develop treatment plans, and educate athletes on injury prevention and rehabilitation. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of different athletes, from professional athletes to amateur and recreational athletes. If you have a passion for helping athletes achieve success, this is the role for you! Current or eligible certification through the NATA Board of Certification and licensed by the NC Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners. Completion of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider which includes BLS and AED training.
