THE POSITION
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Coding and Auditing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of medical coding as well as conducting thorough audits of coding practices within our healthcare facility. Your expertise will play a crucial role in optimizing reimbursement processes and maintaining the integrity of our billing systems. If you have a passion for precision and a commitment to excellence in healthcare administration, we invite you to apply. Bachelor degree in healthcare related field with 2 years experience related to coding/auditing; Associate degree in healthcare related field with 4 years experience coding/auditing experience; or high school diploma with 7+ years of coding/auditing experience. Minimum two years experience in a medical physician office facility. Minimum four years in medical practice billing, coding and collections. EPIC experience a plus. Certification through AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required, Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) certification a plus.
