Functions as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Fiscal Officer for the department. Responsible for supporting the financial, administrative, and operational management of the departments, both locally and at outside locations, on applicable policies, rules, and procedures established by UHA, WVU, WVUF, WVU Research Corp, WVU Hospitals. Works directly with the department chairs to prepare department vision, including recruitment and staffing needs, outreach opportunities, and resource management. Advises and facilitates the mission of the Dept Chair and facilitates the mission of WVU Medicine and the WVU School of Medicine.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE and EXPERIENCE: 1. Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field AND Three (3) years of management or progressive administrative experience OR, 2. Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field AND Five (5) years of management or progressive administrative experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Advanced degree in healthcare related field or Master's in Healthcare Administration EXPERIENCE: 1. Experience in a healthcare setting and academic environment 2. Experience in a large multi-specialty or single-specialty physician group practice, a vertically integrated health system, or multi-site physician practice preferred
