Honeywell Advanced Materials business has been increasing its footprint in pharma, life sciences through sustainable refrigerants, high purity materials and high-performance packaging. To continue to build our position in healthcare and life sciences, we have an exciting opening for a Business Development Senior Manager - Inhalation. Providing leadership to a cross functional team of direct and matrix reporting employees, the BTI leader will be directly responsible for providing end-to-end oversight of the Inhaled BTI to drive profitable growth. In this position, the BTI leader will be responsible for driving a business strategy and execution of that strategy and provide overall cross-functional leadership to drive alignment to business strategies. This role will develop marketplace opportunities in the vertical, lead sales pursuits, oversee internal processes, and form strategic relationships with key pharma industry players. The leader will be instrumental in building pharma industry competencies to the cross-functional teams. This position will report to the VP GM of Foam & Industrial Products and will actively contribute to overall strategic planning for FIP and leverage FIP assets across all businesses and manage Honeywell's overall market positioning.
Define the Strategic Plan and business roadmap, product portfolio priorities, channel strategy and competitive landscape.
Develop go-to-market strategies, and content that differentiate Honeywell offering from competitive offerings, build value prop, collateral for participating in the Inhaled pharma market
Value-selling of Honeywell’s Solstice sustainable offering in the Inhalation space including COPD, Asthma, Biologics others
Build Honeywell pharma platform and expertise in the industry, establish collaborations with industry and research organizations including universities
Generate market and customer driven insight to participate in a market, demand generation and pitch solutions to brands and Contract manufacturers in pharma
Manage and hold team accountable for sales pipeline at Pharmaceutical end-users through multiple channels and across all development stages from initial tests until launch
Oversight of contract negotiations and close deals with Top Line P&L responsibility
Help represent HON at industry events and associations, Conduct customer events and training workshops to promote offering and facilitate value proposition understanding
YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum 10 years of experience in business development
Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceuticals materials
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a multinational environment
A Growth Mindset
High level Understanding of regulatory pharma environment as it pertains to pharma brand strategy and growth/development
Customer driven and naturally curious
Experience in Inhaled application
Excellent communication skills
Commercial excellence: understanding of the value proposition, the competitive landscape, and how to value sell
Track record for building new markets/applications
