Weichert Workforce Mobility is hiring a Cash Disbursement Supervisor in Parsippany, NJ. This is a hybrid role. The Cash Disbursement Supervisor is responsible for supervising a group of Homesale Process Coordinators and Cash Disbursement Coordinators. The position is also responsible for various payment methods including checks, wires, and automated clearing houses (ACHs) in both domestic and international currencies. The Cash Disbursement Supervisor also works with banks to ensure wires are correct and issues and discrepancies are resolved.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supervises the issuance of equity advances, home sale expense remittances, and third party vendor payments in accordance with Company guidelines.
Approves and releases the issuance of global wires, foreign drafts, ACHs, and check payments in multiple currencies.
Initiates investigations with our banking institution in order to resolve payment issues with customers and vendors.
Approves bank wiring amendments to correct instructions based on international and domestic requirements, as needed.
Ensures all bank feeds run from accounting system to bank are accurate and accepted by the bank.
Ensures FX settlements are accurate and performed daily.
Communicates with service teams and bank as needed.
Works with Weichert Co Treasury Team to ensure we are meeting their cash flow needs.
Approves and posts all entries that are entered by the Homesale/Cash Coordinators.
Processes all Company voids.
Reviews daily bank reports, to ensure proper clearance of items from prior day.
Reviews and approves all W9’s, ensuring suppliers are set up properly in the system.
Manages and approves the year-end form 1099 filings, as well as amended filings as need, ensuring full compliance with Internal Revenue Service regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred
Two (2) or more years of wire/ACH-related experience with international and domestic currencies required
Previous accounts payable processing experience preferred
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
Good oral and written communications skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Good people management skills
