As an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) intern, you will have the opportunity to work on and provide leadership in environmental, sustainability, and/or safety projects which are completed by the end of the summer and add direct value to the Division.
Location
Hybrid in Morton, IL (Greater Peoria Area)
Job Duties/Responsibilities will be assigned according to your qualifications and may include, but are not limited to:
Trend analysis of global environmental, sustainability, & safety data in line with our Sustainability Goals
Safety technology research project
Sustainability benchmarking project
Shop floor visits and interactions with employees
Digital database assistance
Key Skills
Sustainability interest
Environmental skills
Health and Safety skills
Digital skills (Sharepoint, Power BI, Microsoft Suite, etc)
Basic Qualifications
Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs:
Occupational Health and Safety, Sustainability, Environmental or Industrial Hygiene
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0 (no rounding)
Expected graduation date May 2025 and beyond
Top Candidates will also have
Demonstrated leadership that requires organizing or working with groups
Past experience in project work
Relevant internship or work experience in functional field
Ability to work independently at times
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills well-developed
Ability to effectively articulate and summarize analytical data for leadership
