dsm-firmenich Country Commercial Controller ANH in Moscow, Russia
The Country Commercial Controller ANH role is an active contributor to the EMEA Finance team and the person will play a key role in the tracking and the analysis of expenses and production costs for production site, legal entities in Russia. The role also will support ad-hoc business and financial analyses for the operations and the commercial.
The main purpose of the role is to support the marketing and sales and business control to ensure that the strategic growth ambition of the business is met and that the relevant financial targets (growth, volume, price, margin, OPEX, DSO, CDI etc.) of the various businesses in the country are met.

Your key responsibilities
Assist in commercial strategy implementation
Drive sales & margin outlook and realization
Track & trace compared to ASR/RAF/PY on Price/Contribution Margin /Gross Margin / Volume
Provide input for the performance dialogues with business management and business controlling, which includes external orientation
Analysis on price consistency, rebates, bad debts, marketing and sales spend, DSO and collections; makes proposals to improve the margins, the efficiency of the operations
Analysis of profitability by product, by customer; proposes corrective action and raise early warning when variances / gaps vs the budget are identified
Analysis of efficiencies in operations (logistics, mixing, warehousing etc.); Provide transparency and impact on profitability
Anticipate business events and their impact and implications for the achievement of the plan / budget
Analysis Risks and Opportunities
Order release after credit risk assessment
Drives the collection and the assessment of the financial capabilities of the customers
Monitor and interpret the consolidated CAPEX and OPEX budgeting & forecasting and provide explanation to management
Timely, complete, and correct managing and executing of the product costing processes in SAP CO
Product costing/ raw material / cycle design & output consumption analysis
Support -and drive - business cases preparation / proposals, DICI transformation etc.
Inventory and working capital management
Functional Cost Reporting according to Crystal definitions to BGs and Service Units, Global Process Owners and DSM Group Control & Accounting
Participate in Period End Monthly Closing, in support of the local Finance & Administration team, manage and support the development of the quarterly latest estimate and the annual budget processes.

You bring
Bachelor's degree Finance, Accounting, Business and Economy or Master’s in finance
5 + years’ work experience in Manufacturing controlling and know or desire to learn about product cost accounting.
Experience in OPEX variance analysis versus Budget, Latest Forecast, and Prior Year.
Proficient with all IT solutions and strong Microsoft Excel skills being a must;
Knowledge of local legislation (civil, contract, corporate, tax law)
Experience in dealing with matrix organizations and dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Effective and professional communication and organization skills
Upper intermediate level of English
