Job Description
In this role, the Machine Operator will perform the following duties:
Operate machinery and equipment.
Complete changeovers.
Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments.
Inspect products and identify defects.
Input data into various operating systems to control variables to produce consistent material.
Maintain production level to standard along with keeping accurate records.
Act as a lead and mentor for other employees.
Train others on machine specific procedures as well as best practices.
Maintain safety and housekeeping requirements.
Perform special projects when necessary
Perform all other duties as requested.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED.
Mechanical aptitude; experience with industrial equipment.
Understand SOPs and Work Instructions.
Wear required PPE and follow cleanroom protocols.
Follow written, oral, and diagram instructions.
Effective interaction with co-workers and management.
Basic English proficiency.
Physical Requirements:
Lift/move up to 40 lbs.
Walk, stoop, bend regularly.
Perform inspections/tests standing or seated.
Work in moderate to loud noise conditions.
Clear vision for close and distant tasks.
Work in cleanroom areas.
Flexible schedule with overtime as needed.
