Mid-Level Transmission Line Engineer (In-office or Hybrid)
POWER Engineers is currently seeking a Mid-Level Transmission Line Engineer for our Overhead Transmission design team.. The candidate has the option of office-based work in our Mount Laurel, NJ office or hybrid (at least 2 days in-office) from a mutually acceptable location. This position has a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review engineering deliverables in support of overhead transmission line projects
PLS-CADD model
PLS-POLE models
Project design criteria
Steel pole loading calculations and drawings
Engineering drawings and specifications
Foundation designs and drawings
Bill of materials
Provide mentorship and guidance to others. Perform detailed engineering reviews of the work submitted by others.
Coordinate regularly with the Project Engineer to ensure project scope, budget, and quality expectations are met.
Required Education/Experience:
Fundamentals of Engineering licensure
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Electrical Engineering
The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel.
Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite
At least 3 years of experience using PLS-CADD
Preferred Education/Experience:
Three (3) or more years’ experience in transmission line design as outlined above
Professional Engineering license (PE) is strongly preferred but not required
Managerial and leadership skills a plus

Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $85-$125K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
