Neej Investments LLc Housekeeping in MOUNT PLEASANT, Michigan

Neej Investments, LLC is seeking five (5) housekeeping personnel to work at 206 N. Nicolet Street, Mackinaw City, MI 49701. The position will be full-time seasonal during the dates of April 1, 2025 - October 31, 2025.

The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Carrying linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Emptying wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweeping floors, using brooms, mops. Replenishing supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Vacuuming rugs, carpets, and dusting furniture. Sanitizing equipment and supplies. Observing necessary precautions required to protect guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Sorting, counting, and marking clean linens and store them in linen closets. Washing dishes and cleaning kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware. Must greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing. Must be flexible, communicate effectively, speak clear English, be a team player.

Employees will  work Mon-Sun, an average of 35 hrs/wk. Must be able to work any 7 hr shift within the hours of 8:00 am to 10: 00 pm any day of the week; days off rotate, shifts vary. Weekends, nights and holidays are required. No minimum education is required to perform the job. 

On-the-job training is provided. Neej Investments, LLC provides workers with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. Transportation is not provided.    The wage is $15.06 per hour. All deductions will be made from paychecks that are required by law. No other deductions will be taken unless voluntarily agreed upon. Overtime is not available. Wages will be paid bi-weekly, and the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.  

This posting is being made in connection with an application for H-2B workers.

The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.  

Optional housing is available at 206 N. Nicolet Street, Mackinaw City, MI 49701 at a rate of $85 per week per worker.  This is not a condition of employment. This deduction will be made from the worker's paycheck if agreed upon. In the alternate, the employer will assist the workers to find suitable housing within walking distance of the worksite.
