Intuit Staff Technical Program Manager in Mountain View, California

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Technical Program Manager to join our Strategy and Architecture TPM team at Intuit. This position is responsible for overseeing high-impact cross-organizational initiatives that require active engagement with various stakeholders such as product management, architecture, and business operations.

The Strategy and Architecture TPM team is dedicated to operationalizing Intuit's technology strategy by scaling the architecture practice, providing insights to technology decisions, and driving platform velocity through cross-functional initiatives.

As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating technical solutions that align with Intuit's business objectives. You will collaborate with multiple teams to identify areas of improvement and influence key stakeholders to drive critical technology initiatives forward.

What you'll bring

  • Strong Program Management team leadership experience, including 7 or more years leading multiple complex cloud software development projects, and/or end-to-end process design programs

  • Excellent influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels and build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs

  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences visually communicating goals of program, relationship to business goals, and other relevant success criteria

  • Strong Program Management team leadership experience, leading multiple complex software development programs end-to-end

  • Strategic and creative problem solver with demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment. Ability to influence at all levels and without direct authority, lead end-to-end, and bend seamlessly between strategic and tactical work

  • Establish rapport, credibility, trust and build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcomes for complex programs

How you will lead

  • Develop the program structure and drive the program operating rhythm to bring together complex, cross-organizational teams

  • Partner with key stakeholders in executive teams, product management & Architects, and various cross functional teams to effectively drive towards program outcomes

  • Quickly and effectively identify and clarify the critical issues and dependencies that need action and drive them through to closure. Communicate results clearly and in actionable form. Effectively balance business needs versus technical constraints

  • Communicate progress across the organization and at all levels; Includes program status, risks, dependencies and change control

  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently

  • Thrive in establishing order and clarity amongst ambiguity and chaos

  • Work well with others when conflicts arise, with ability to influence others to work towards program outcomes

  • Establish rapport, credibility, trust and build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcomes for complex programs

  • Ability to rally teams behind your execution plan, communicate a clear story of challenges and opportunities, and align executive teams on program outcomes
