Google Strategic Partner Development Manager, Android in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, in the Consumer Electronics, OEMs, Telecom, Apps, or Technology industries.

  • Experience in managing agreements or partnerships.

  • Experience in working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in business with a mobile platform, with knowledge of Internet technologies.

  • Understanding of consumer electronics and the mobile value chain.

  • Ability to execute strategies, business minded, and collaborate with creative and results driven people.

  • Ability to do what is necessary to get the right outcome and firm sense of accountability and ownership.

  • Excellent quantitative investigative skills including experience in coding, database manipulation (ex: SQL) or financial modeling.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to turn a high level concept into a well defined narrative with executive ready materials.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

In this role, you will help partners realize the mutual benefit from making, distributing and connecting Android based products for users throughout the world. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Identify, create, lead, and implement effective business development agreements that drive results across the Android platform business.

  • Maintain consultative business relationships with hardware partners and gain exposure to partners business initiatives to positively impact platform ecosystem proliferation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, develop and communicate final recommendations.

  • Report business growth and other key metrics, track actual progress toward forecasts, drive new business opportunities and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of business issues with partners.

  • Lead business reviews with partners and offer a strategic and investigative perspective of the partnership, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
