Google Technical Program Manager III, Hardware, Augmented Reality Glasses in Mountain View, California
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in program management.
Experience working with both hardware and software programs (e.g., software and hardware interactions).
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience with program management tools like Smartsheets, TaskFlow, or other technical tools.
Experience writing scripts (e.g., App scripts, etc.).
Experience working with internal and external partners.
Ability to navigate ambiguity in a technical area.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Partner with Product Management and Engineering team members to develop, own, and execute the Augmented Reality Glasses programs .
Engage with Tech Leads and engineers on both long term development work and day to day activities (e.g., identify blockers, dependencies, track progress, offer support, etc.).
Own program schedules and track dependencies and deliverables through its entire life-cycle.
Work with the program leads to drive the interactions with all external partners associated with the program.
Maintain periodic communication to broader team and leadership on the overall health of the program (e.g., updates, schedule, risks, mitigation plans, etc.).
