Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Software Development Engineer III for its Mountlake Terrace, Washington office.

Job Duties: Analyze and execute upgrade efforts to the cloud aligning with our cloud first mentality; translate complex system opportunities into robust, cutting-edge solutions using C#, SQL and Azure cloud tools; design solutions on various platforms to improve our customer's lives by making healthcare work better; work in an agile team with the opportunity to pair and mob with other engineers; perform unit, regression and integration testing using automated test frameworks, and Test Driven Development (TDD); analyze and troubleshoot production incidents for applications owned by the Information Management CPG meeting current Service Level Agreements (SLA's). Telecommuting permitted
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
Experience Requirements: One (1) year of experience in each of the following:
- Programming in the language C# and SQL
- Cloud solutions such as Azure
- Using & creating automated test tools
- Working in an Agile environment
- API and service-based technologies
- Applying CI/CD

Salary: $131,250 - $144,200 per year per year
