Responsibilities

As part of the Content Intelligence team for Business Chat, you will work on deep understanding of various types of structured, unstructured, and multi-media datasets, from designing scalable experiments to deploying codes and models to production. Specifically:

  • Leverage large scale Azure Machine Learning platform to manage compliant data and conduct awide range of AI/LLM related experiments.

  • Conduct online experiments based on optimal algorithms and modelstrained in offline settings.

  • Resolve experimentation scalability and latency issues and optimize performance.

  • Design the guardrail metrics and sanity test cases to maintain quality overtime.

  • Collaborate closely with partners to deploy our solutions to production.

  • Stay current with the latest LLM developments and apply the best ones to our stack as appropriate.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience (e.g., statistics predictive analytics, research)

  • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)

  • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in machine learning.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PyTorch, R, Java, or C++.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.

  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Results-oriented critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex challenges.

  • Familiarity and practical experiencewith Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, and the latest Large Language Model (LLM) techniques.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
