Microsoft Corporation Regional Delivery Manager in Multiple Locations, Singapore

As a Regional Delivery Manager on the Cloud Interconnection + Acquisitions (CI+A) Team you will contribute to building a world-class network infrastructure by working with Metro Dark Fiber, Long-Haul Fiber, subsea, and Lit Wave circuits. With a flexible workplace, you can work from home partially or fully and/or come to the office on an as needed basis.

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a Regional Delivery Manager you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. As a group, CO+I is focused on the personal and professional development for all employees and offers trainings and growth opportunities including Career Rotation Programs, Diversity & Inclusion trainings and events, and professional certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Outside Plant (OSP) optical design, planning, and engineering for new and existing regions

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years people management experience.

  • 1+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years people management experience.

  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
