Citigroup AVP - Facilities Operations Manager in Mumbai, India

The Fac Ops Asset Intmd Anlyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

In this role, you are expected to:

  • Supports end to end facilities operations including design & construction project management, physical operations and maintenance of building /facilities

  • Responsible for supporting, executing, maintaining and/or reporting on the various global functions supporting Citi's corporate realty services (CRS)

  • Manages large volumes of data, required to review, validate and update the monthly operating review (MOR) data input and reports

  • Maintains high level data quality by validating against applying global benchmarks and historical trends, clarify and correct data with regional colleagues assistance

  • Routinely updates dashboards for senior management

  • Adheres to existing process for data collection, management and reporting

  • Develops and recommends improvements for existing processes and reporting functions

  • Assists the team in the management and maintenance of standards, procedures and policy documents

  • Executes internal/external communication strategies with the ability to develop, write and edit stories, blog posts, tweets, and press releases related to sustainability

  • Liaises closely and communicate with effectively with appropriate CRS senior management, regional and global colleagues

  • Supports various functions and processes such as Energy Star Certifications, facility evaluations, incident reporting and tracking

  • Assists with creation/modification of presentations, spreadsheets, and other various documents

  • Tracks program documentation and conducts follow-ups to ensure timely and accurate completion

  • Maintains information for department website/request timely updates from vendor as requested/communicates to global team on updates per pre-set schedule

  • Facilitates and serves as lead coordinator for various training sessions

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Ideally, you have the following qualifications:

  • 5-8 years relevant experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented

  • Proactive leadership and motivational skills

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven influencing and relationship management skills

  • Experience a cross-cultural team environment

  • Environment Lease related US GAAP knowledge (preferable not necessary)

  • Ability to plan, organize and schedule duties to meet processing deadlines

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with sensitivity to senior management, time frames and regulatory-driven deliverables

  • Knowledge of real estate industry.

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
