Abbott Manager Finance in Mumbai, India
Main Purpose of the Role:
To manage and analyze financial performance metrics, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting activities. The role will also involve acting as a controller for I&D center and corporate functions, ensuring efficient financial management and process improvements.
Main Responsibilities:
Expense Provisions: Manage and ensure the accuracy of monthly expense provisions.
Performance Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of financial metrics such as sales, margin, and price-volume variance to support business decision-making.
Sales and P&L Commentary: Develop insightful sales and P&L commentary to provide management with a clear understanding of financial performance.
Financial Controller for I&D and Corporate Functions: Act as a financial controller for R&D and HQ corporate functions, including budget allocation, tracking, and preparation of MIS reports.
Quarterly Budgeting (RLBE): Participate in the quarterly budgeting cycle, including data preparation and upload in planning tools.
Audit Facilitation: Handle queries from auditors, providing the necessary documentation and explanations.
Process Optimization: Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
Ad Hoc Reporting: Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports to meet specific business needs.
Excel & SAP Skills: Leverage strong Excel skills and basic knowledge of SAP to manage and analyze financial data.
Education Level:
Chartered Accountant (CA)
Experience:
0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or a related field.
