Onboarding Technical Specialist Manager Responsibilities:

The Onboarding Technical Specialist manager will be part of theGlobalEquity Solutions group within the Morgan Stanley at Work organization. GlobalEquity Solutions is responsible for the engagement, onboarding and day to day service management of corporate clients and their equity administration plan terms and associated service offerings. The candidate will work cross-functionally towards a goal of successful end-to-end delivery of onboarding and Robotics Process Automation (RPA) projects bringing a willingness to do what it takes to get milestones delivered in a timely and accurate manner. The candidate will build exceptional relationships with both immediate and cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment focusing on all aspects of client readiness and support for clients as they move through the full lifecycle of onboarding activities onto the Morgan Stanley at Work equity administration platforms.

This manager position is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of several concurrent onboarding and RPA projects. Projects include the onboarding of Stock Plan Administration for corporate clients and RPA initiatives (internal and external) in a timely and high-quality fashion.

This highly visible position involves interacting with a variety of individuals at all levelswithinthe organization. Candidate must be driven, collaborative and a self-starter, be organized and detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. This position requires the ability to understand complex software and business concepts and to quickly absorb the business details.

The Onboarding Technical Specialist Manager:

  • Lead a dynamic team of Onboarding Technical Specialists and RPA Specialists responsible for completing a variety of onboarding and RPA projects in a timely and high-quality fashion and in a manner that meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline onboarding processes and integrate RPA technologies.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of onboarding and RPA specialists, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of onboarding and RPA initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve department goals and objectives.
  • Based on defined requirements and a project plan, oversee theaccurate configuration of Morgan Stanley at Work equity administration software to reflect the needs of clients’ equity compensation plans and related plan data
  • Maintains and utilizes the project workflow and checklists to manage project deliverables
  • Coordinate with onshore stakeholders on project details and technical queries
  • Serves as a trusted subject matter expert to position best-practices with internal stakeholders
  • Stays current with new products and enhancements, and their integration into application and operations
  • Builds strong relationships with software developers and other technical experts to facilitate requests for advanced platform configuration, and additional development of the platform when appropriate
  • Works closely with cross-functional technical and process teams to resolve system and configuration issues
  • Ensures configuration reviews, inclusive of end-to-end testing are performed meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Analyzes existing processes and tools, with the goal of identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensures quality control of all developed and modified solutions
  • Ensures that internal and client-facing documentation is complete and current

Qualifications: * BS/BA Degree or diploma in the Data Management, Business, Finance, Sciences, orequivalent education, training, and experience * Minimum of five years’ experience with a proven track record of managing software and onboarding projects requiring coordination with a variety of stakeholders * Proven experience in applying Agile methodologies and principles in a project management or leadership role * Experienced working with data migration, or the management and manipulation of large amounts of data that at times may be ambiguous * Basic understanding of equity and employee benefit plans, preferred * Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred * Certified Scrum Master or similar Agile certification preferred * CEP certification preferred * A strong, broad technical background is required. Must have a solid understanding of system concepts and operational feasibility within existing systems. * Excellent planning and organizing skills. Can accurately scope out length and difficulty of tasks, sets objectives and goals, adjusts for problems and measures performance. * Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and high attention-to-detail * Able to learn new skills quickly; Self-motivated for continuous learning * Sets a high standard of accountability and dependability * Comfortable in a fast-paced and able to effectively manage themselves * Proven success working in highly collaborative, team-centric environments * Proven success at delivering an exceptional customer experience * Proven track record in successfully handling multiple projects at one time. Ability to multi-task and reprioritize activities with little supervision. * Strong communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills * Advanced Python, SQL, UiPath, Artificial Intelligence, OpenAI skills, including formulas and functions for data manipulation is strongly desired
