Core Responsibilities

  • Co-develops the LEGO Kids Audience story and campaign strategy for Europe Central (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) considering the specific needs of the markets

  • Creates, implements and drives comprehensive local marketing plans in line with business unit and regional strategy in relation to different LEGO Sub-lines

  • Balances the need to create consumer demand and shopper conversion across ATL and BTL in close collaboration with our internal departments (such as digital, trade, PR, event, sales teams) and external partners (such as the media agency)

  • Plans and monitors performance of themes, prepares and take actions

  • Drives marketing innovation as well as effectiveness through systematic and structured review of channel & touchpoint performance

  • Functional project leadership and support for the development of brand management teams

  • Role model for brand team and marketing overall in terms of behavior, attitude and skills

  • Partner management for IP related franchises with e. g. Disney, Warner and others

  • Works closely with other kids audience team members and LEGO Masterbrand on overall portfolio storylines and key deliverables

The LEGO Marketing Team brings one of the world’s most iconic brands, and its products for consumers and shoppers to life.

We translate global audience and franchise strategies into local go-to-market-strategies for Germany, Austria & Switzerland, owning the full marketing toolbox. Further, we are an active contributor into the sales and order planning process. We are collaborative. We work together in the local marketing team and with regional/global teams, sales and operations teams, as well as IP, media, agency and retail partners to deliver on our vision of inspiring and developing the builders of tomorrow.

Do you have what it takes:

  • Proven track record in Brand/Product Management/Communications or related experience in Marketing Management

  • Experience in the development of comprehensive marketing plans, using all channels (owned, earned, shared & paid – OESP)

  • Extensive experience in planning and execution of (digital) media strategies

  • Proven track record in business management of brands and products

  • Excellent communication and networking skills (both in English and German language)

  • Established Brand Management background that enables the candidate to take on functional leadership within the Brand Team and engage with Marketing Leadership Team

  • Proactive and ability to perform independently
